Back In The Saddle

Sophomore Andrew Paiyou was awarded the top prize at the 46th annual East Texas Regional Science Fair at Kilgore College with his project in Senior Physical entitled “Good Up High, But Bad Nearby” March 6. He will receive a trip to the 2009 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Reno, Nevada May 10-16.


Also placing were sophomore’s John Hill Price, who was invited to attend ISWEEP, sophomore Daniel Malek and junior Perry Gamble, who are heading to state. All of whom placed first, second, and sixth respectively in Senior Biological. Placing second and going to state in Senior Physical is sophomore Raven Peavy.


Sophomore Erika Murillo was awarded $100 from the Water Environment Association of Texas, Senior Maritza Rodriguez and Paiyou earned an award from the US Navy, Guillermo Vargas received a Math Award, and John Hill Price earned theInternational Sustainable World Award.
