Principal's Message

Dear Rattler Families, Students, and Community Members,

Over the last ten years, Navasota ISD has become much more than just the place I work—it has become home for my family and me. Having served as both a classroom teacher and a campus administrator, I have a deep-rooted love for our students, our staff, and what it truly means to be a Rattler. It is my absolute honor to serve as the Principal of Navasota High School.

I live by a simple philosophy: it takes a village to raise a child. No matter what that village looks like outside of school, every single student deserves a supportive, encouraging village inside our walls. My role as principal is to coordinate that support, because our responsibility goes far beyond test scores. We are here to prepare our students to take on the world the Monday after graduation—whether their next step is college, trade school, entering the workforce, or serving in the military. Our goal is to help them become the best possible spouses, parents, community members, and leaders of tomorrow.

Whether you are stepping onto our campus for academics, visiting the ag shop, watching our Rattler Band and Diamonettes perform, cheering with our cheerleaders, or supporting our athletes under the Friday night lights, know that I am committed to being our students' and teachers' biggest fan. From the classroom to the stadium, the stage, and beyond, we celebrate student success in every arena.

None of what we do is possible without the incredible partnership of our parents, teachers, staff, and community members. Navasota High School carries a proud, long-standing tradition of excellence, and I am excited to keep our positive momentum rolling as we build a bright future together.

Thank you for partnering with us to give our students the village they deserve. Let’s make it an extraordinary school year!

Go Rattlers!
